EFI lighting recently presented its luminous car interior concept to the management of a Chinese based manufacturer.
Immediately convinced of the potential of this technology, they wanted to see the roof of their car decorated with a star-filled sky.
In one month, using the Lightex® lighting concept, the Chinese teams of EFI Automotive developed a functional prototype with 190 glowing stars lit by only two LEDs. Discussions are continuing on the possibility of including this feature as standard equipment on all their models produced for the Chinese market.
